Hi, I’m Jared Lewis. I created this company with one goal in mind: to help every customer use the remodeling process to create a home they love in every way — to live in and to entertain in. The work we do isn’t just about building beautiful spaces, it always reflects our commitment to creative design, exceptional quality, meticulous attention to detail, and the belief that your home should express your personality in its look and feel as well as function.

I’m proud to say that over the last decade Jared Lewis Design Build Remodel has been honored with multiple awards for our work, including being named Best of Houzz for Excellence in Service and Design for six years running. My Santa Cruz County team and I look forward to working with you on your next home remodeling project.

Jared Lewis, Founder

As a child, Jared loved spending time with his father (who was also a contractor); a pencil tucked behind his ear and toy drill in hand, eager to learn all there was to know about home building. Jared is grateful for the specialized skills and strong work ethic he learned from his dad. He brings the same craftsmanship and value to every project he completes.

While serving as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, Jared gained invaluable life experience. He was awarded a Combat Action Ribbon and presented with the Presidential Unit of Citation for his service. The leadership ability and self-discipline he learned while deployed is evident in every aspect of his life and work.

After completing military duty in Iraq, Jared returned to his roots in the home-construction industry. He earned his general contractor license in 2005 and started his first company, Jared Lewis Construction. He obtained a Lead Renovator Certification from the EPA and a Green Building Certification from Build it Green. He also attended training through PG&E, where he learned how to optimize the home building process for maximum comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.

Through industry expertise and the use of innovative technology, Lewis Design Build Remodel has become a trusted name in home contracting services in the Santa Cruz and South Bay areas. They specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, room additions, and whole-house remodels. Jared’s diverse skill and unwavering integrity have resulted in countless beautiful homes and satisfied customers.
