Community has always been important to Jared Lewis, owner of Lewis Design Build Remodel, and his wife, Kathy Lewis. Having been active volunteers in their local community, Jared and Kathy ... truly understand how important being involved can be and believe the old adage; it takes a village.

The current focus for the BUILDing Community program is to identify exceptional high-school students in Santa Cruz County and support their journey into higher education. The Lewis Design Build Remodel (LDBR) ‘U Nailed It’ Teacher of the Month Award was committed to recognizing the incredible teachers of the Scotts Valley school district, all of whom have exhibited extraordinary educational excellence. Over the past several years, our ‘U Nailed It’ Teacher of the Month Program has allowed us to celebrate some of the amazing educators who have gone above and beyond in support of their students, school, and community at large.
