As a part of Lewis Design Build Remodel’s (LDBR) BUILDing Community program, the ‘U Nailed It’ award is designed to honor teachers in the Scotts Valley, CA region. This award invites Scotts Valley, CA parents, colleagues, students, and district administrators to nominate teachers of distinction who have exhibited educational excellence, benefiting their community, school, and student body.
LDBR hopes to build and grow the community in which they work and live by giving teachers that go above and beyond, a financial gift for their classroom, and the coveted ‘U Nailed It’ award.
The 'U Nailed It' award was created to recognize teachers who have exhibited exceptional skills in the classroom and in the community, going above and beyond for their students and their school.

In order for your nomination to be considered, you must be a student, parent/guardian of a student, or administrator of the participating schools (see list below) or, have graduated in the last calendar year. Colleagues and district administrators may submit a nomination if they either currently work with the nominee or have worked with the nominee in the last calendar year. Nominees must currently be employed and teaching at one of the participating schools to be eligible.
Nominations will be accepted duration the regular calendar school year. Teachers that receive the most nominations by the end of each month will be notified and, receive the award.
